Have the 13 only issue was rear tire ,replaced at 7000 miles (warranty) .You have the Rushmore series the 16 models most of the bugs should be already worked out .Of course they are very restricted with the emission regulations . Intake and exhaust and a good tune is almost a must . Beautiful bike good luck and enjoy .
Your biggest issue may be saying good bye to your softail(you wont ride it much)
Nice scoot-enjoy.
IMO-All you need is stage 1-handlebars-audio upgrade and a new windscreen...
I have a 2015 Street Glide Special, figure it is same as your 2016. I must say I am impressed that dead bone stock it does not run hot like the recent bikes.
I have Slip-Ons and a K&N filter element and honestly don't feel the need to get a tuner. Tuner may be a plus but I am really happy with mine as it is right now.
Whenever you ask if there are any problems with a certain model, your sure to get some answers. Some good, some bad.So just ride your nice new Harley untill you encounter a problem, then deal with it.
Congrats on the new bike, my 2015 has been good really happy with it I did a stage 1 and will do a 107 when winter comes, I did put Ohlins on the back which really helped also. Had to replace the rear tire because I picked up a staple cannot blame the bike for that. The issues with 6.5 boom are totally overblown. I like that color also vacillated on that and Black.
