Default Anybody using Saddlemen LS Road Sofa on bagger

I was wondering if anyone is using the Saddlemen LS Road Sofa on their Touring or Bagger ... I have been eying it but am not sure... It's between that and the Mustang Smooth Super tour... I had the Wide tour before but the Super tour sets you back another inch...
Just curious.

I brought one in the shop along with a Drag Spec. touring seat and while the LS is a very nice seat with gel pads front and rear, full perf leather on top and very supportive lumbar area - my preference has gone to the Drag seat. The LS feels slightly slimmer in the thigh area making it a bit easier to put a foot down but when riding that slimness also translates to less support while riding and I think it sits you very slightly more forward. The Drag seat sits pretty much in the stock position, not up, down, forward or back. If you're wanting to move forward just a little the LS might be a good choice for you but as I said - I like the Drag seat, pretty nice seat for the price. I have the Road Sofa in vinyl with the gel, backrest, and matching tour pak cover. It's great for all day riding, especially with the backrest. It does sit you up a little higher and maybe further forward. The only way that I would get rid of it would be to replace it with the leather version.

Top is the Drag Specialties Large Touring seat, bottom is the Saddlemen LS Road Sofa.........note the "S" on the lumbar support - it is a good looking seat, actually both are.

Seats are a risky purchase, never a bad idea to go with what you know works.

I have about 1700 miles on my road sofa LS and it's pretty comfy, raises you up a little and looks pretty good. I use this seat for longer rides and a danny gray long haul XL for shorter trips. For $450 tha LS is a good seat without getting to big and ugly

I put 60000 miles on a Mustang wide tour but think I will go with the super tour this time . I currently have a Sundowner and I like it but my wife liked the Mustang better.
