The 3.5" diameter shell mufflers used to have 1 bolt and the front of the baffle compressed into the front of the muffler shell. If the baffle backed out a millimeter it would rattle so we changed the design to 2 bolts. It's been that way for a few years.
The 4" diameter shell mufflers, Big Louie's, have always had 2 bolts. Here is a link to what the Big Louie baffle looks like.

I assume the Big Louie fits 2016? Also the larger the bore baffle the lower the note?

I originally ordered the 3-inch baffles. VERY deep and VERY loud.
I ordered 2-1/2" replacement baffles - raised the pitch VERY little, and made them the perfect volume for me - rumble at normal, screaming at WOT or under load.

interesting - is your bike a 'Cat'? Mine is and I have the 2.5 and feel they are too quiet - However, I am used to my 04 with Rineharts True duals and LOVED that sound.... I am (I think) wanting the 3"?

Nope - no cat. I also installed the Rush REC17 header pipe. With cats, I'd be at the 3-inch.
