I purchase a 2012 ultra classic with rush mufflers the owner said they were big louies and the measure almost 4 inchs but the baffle is held in with 2 screws. I have been looking to upgrade from the 2 inch baffles to the 2 1/2 inch baffles however the pics of replacement baffles have 1 retaining screw and are shaped differently is it possible the mufflers aren't big louies and a maybe a diffent rush muffler...they have the rush imprint on them
Just got off the phone with 'Catfish' at Rush - 866-994-7874. I had another question - while talking to him, i read your question? He was confused? Their baffles all have 2 screws. BTW - i have 2.5 and i would like a little More sound. Catfish suggested before i spend the $$ on 3" - take out my 2.5 and cut off the packing - little more sound with having to change anyThing on the bike. Call that number and ask for Catfish - Adam is good but i like catfish better - post what you find

The advice to call Rush is correct. They will tell you which part # you need for the 2 1/2" baffle. They may recommend a different size. I had slash downs and swapped them out for 3 1/2" with caps (See below). Real nice quality, sound and easy to swap baffles later. Good luck to you.

FWIW ... I just went out in the garage to confirm my last statement. I have Rush 15303 series ( Straight Cut At the End ) Mufflers that I purchased new in 2009, and the baffles are DEFINITELY held in with one ( 1 ) bolt near the outlet ( back side ) of the muffler.
