<<<<My question is, Did everyone with an '06 get the letter?>>>>
I got a letter from HD about a month ago, Had my dealer order the regulator (he didn't have any in stock), it arrived just in time for my 5000 mile service, so they installed it then, along with the fork lock recall. I don't think you need to have the letter to have the service done, I left mine at home for both recalls and they didn't ask foreither when I had the service done.
Yes, mine was done over a month ago right after I received the letter.I called them late on a Thursday afternoon and brought it in the next morning when they opened at 8:30 AM and was out of there less then 1 1/2 hours later. They said they had been changing quite a fewand had the parts ever since the bulletin came out. If you go to the H-D site and type in your VIN it will tell you if your bike has any recalls that need to be done.
