I tryed looking this up and I see know info. ...so what's involved to talk back on the call that goes over the speakers? I'm guessing there's a microphone is it wireless? Cost? Any help would be great
Wireless? No, this is a Harley, and we're still in the 1980's.
You have to buy a Harley headset/mike combo, which connects to the bike with a cable. You install it in your helmet. Around $200, I think. Then you'll be able to answer calls, and hear music and GPS commands.
Unfortunately, our brand spankin' new 2015 Road Glide Specials do not have the plug for the cable, and the "official" way to connect it involves f***ing glueing a socket on to the tank between your legs.
Who in their right f$!&ing mind wants to talk on the phone while riding their bike. Seriously, if a call is more important than paying attention let me suggest you apply for this year's darwin awards.

Actually, the "talking on the phone" part isn't important to me, at all. I would just like to be able to hear the GPS instructions. Which I can't, because I wear a full coverage helmet.
For those of you who wear your doo-rag, this obviously isn't a problem.
But thanks again for your thoughtful, respectful comment in this thread.

Huh? Make up your mind. Talking on the phone, and listening to GPS instructions are distinctly different.
Thanks Idaho. .as for rest I spent 23.000$ on a roadglide special I just wanted to know what's involved doing everything this bike can do..I don't plan on taking business calls but I can see this come in handy for small stuff
