Default Cleaning Wheels

After spending much time and money over the years,I found the scrubbing bubbles cleaner from the grocery store works as well as any expensive
de greaser. I spray the hose on the wheels and get the heavy stuff off , spray on the scrubbing bubbles and let it soak in and was the wheels off . It great on chrome and aluminum. Leave a nice shine on the both. Easy on your wallet and easy to use.

I rarely clean my rear wheel since you can barely see it, but I do clean the lip, as well as all non black areas on the front with xtreem wheel polish. It's a length of cloth of some type that's impregnated with the cleaner. It works great on aluminum. http://highwayshine.com/single-items...jar-p-104.html

I learn something everyday on this forum! Here I thought the aluminum wheels on the baggers were coated. Damn. I use S100 but it doesn't do squat on the wheels. Any other options for simple cleaning. Not so hot on the Scrubbing Bubbles.

I wont use a cleaner that says specifically " not for use on motorcycles" on my bike. There is a reason this is stated on the product.
Yes sir,True Story:
Purchased my Springer new in 2002.Got sick of rubbing and cleaning spokes with glass cleaner.Figured must be a spray and wash to clean shortcut?
Purchased EAGLE ONE CHROME AND WIREWHEEL CLEANER.Read label enough. So i thought.Sprayed,waited,30 sec. then rinsed.Turned my spokes completely BLACK!Bike had less than 1500 miles on it.
Called EAGLE ONE Teck line.Didn't you read the label? On the back in small letters.
DO NOT USE ON MOTORCYCLE.Some harley spokes are nickel cad. plated.Removed the plating.
Had to respoke both rims. Thanks EAGLE ONE for the F'N fine print!! TRUE STORY.So when it sez MOTORCYCLE ONLY!!Don't learn the hard way like i did.

My SG had a neglected Chrome agitator rear rim.I used glass cleaner to remove most of crap. Then to bring rim back from heavy staining and pitting had to use a TON of rubbing with NEVER DULL.
Don't purchase EAGLE ONE just use as a example.Their is no shortcuts!PLENTY OF RUBBING!
Must remove bags often.Doesn't take long.Jack is a must.Don't let them go.You'll be rubbing long time.....AGAIN
