I got a road king solo seat off craigslist for my 06 street glide a while back. it did not come with the mounting hardware so i just used the nuts from my backrest kit to bolt the drivers seat down. i need to get the passenger seat on there for a road trip next week, but the 2-piece seat mounting hardware from HD is $60. my question is, can i use a set of Mustang solo seat nuts like
I have a '05 RK. And those are the nuts I use.....they work.....does your seat have the hardware where the bolts go through....
Or
If you are not using the pillion seat any bolt will do, then use an acorn nut to cover the ends of the bolts...they make them pretty deep....ACE hardware in a pinch.
My rear seat just has some slots in the front that slide on those recesses on those nuts you have linked. Its a factory road king rear seat that fits just fine behind a Mustang solo.
