This may be a crazy question,....but I am wondering if anyone knows when the Road King made it's first appearance?

Yes, 1994 Had a FLHS ordered. Back then bikes were a 12-18 month waiting list. When it came in it was a Road King. Nice surprise.

Do you might think that maybe that was why in 2004 the road king custom was introduced? Like a ten year anniverary thing? Just wondering. I hate to see the rk custom go to the way side. I love my bike. Guess the good news for me, is there wont be to many of them out there. Is there anyway to see the total number of units sold for a particular model? That would be interesting to me. Just a question from left field.
