Will the headlight from a newer model 2014 fit my 2012?

Go to the MoCo website and find which headlight you're referring to in the catalog and then cross-reference it to find out.

a 7" headlight is a 7" headlight all day long.

yes- if you are changing from a single bulb to a dual halogen you will need to change the connectors...CDN Tire has the new plugs- splice into the stock wiring or make an adapter

7" headlights swap from 2016 to 1949...

I run a 2009 in my '53 ( with a 6 volt lamp)...I replaced the 2009 with a dual halogen

Yes. My buddy put one on his 2005 Heritage too.

you can cut and splice, HD makes harnesses and Buelligan posts a link to the guy he used for a custom wiring adapter
