Default CD Changer

Hey all, I have an 01 FLHTC Stock radio with cassette, which as you know, no one uses cassettes anymore, Ive had the fairing off once to hook up my oil temp guage, and didnt pay much attention to the radio, are there any jacks for hooking up an external CD changer (as in aftermarket, not HD for $899)? I mean cant I go down to the local stereo store and pick up a changer? anyone done this? thanks

Damn, RC....if that is you in that pic under your name, you don't need a CD changer...I'll ride with you and change CDs at your command!

I have an 02 fltri and there are no aux ports on the back that I can see. I was hoping to wire my ipod into the back so there wouldn't be a wire going to the front aux port of the radio but no luck. I plan on adding some power outlets inside the tourpack and placing my ipod with a FM tuner there so I won't have to worry about the battery and it will remain out of sight/locked up. Also most of the mp3 players out now will give you more music than a changer with just as good quality taking up WAY less space and costing less.

I went and bought a little MP3 player and attached it to my bars, works great, (I thought the jack on the front of the radio was for headphones! Duh)

I bought a cd changer for my last touring bike and wasnt happy with it. It was ok on the highway but always skipped in the city. I would look at a mp3 player instead.

I think MP3 is the way to go. You can have many hours of music and can change and add songs as you want to. No skipping, less cost and take with you when you leave bike!

I use a Mp3 player with the fm sender in the tour box works great but I am still using batteries which only get about 8 hours out of the fm sender plan on putting a power outlet in the box to take care of that mp3 player gets about 15 hours on 1 aaa so it is not a concern $80 bucks for mp3 $30 for a sender (get the digital sender more options)
