It time to replace the camshafts tension shoes. So I figure, I may as well changing out the stock camshafts. The bike(103ci) currently has the SE Stage Air Cleaner Kit and SE Street Cannon Performance Slip-on Mufflers. These were added to the bike by the dealer with ECM calibration. I am looking at the 2 Screamin Eagle Tuners; SE Pro Super Tuner, part #32109-08C or SE Street Performance Tuner, part #41000008B. I am considering these tuner since they do not need to be attached to the bike permanently. I am not considering any of the aftermarket tuner.
Get the pro tuner 32109-8C if you are only considering the SE products as it will allow you to do more than the street tuner will. You will probably get lots of opinions or remarks like the one above on tuners. I have personally ran the pro tuner on all of the Harleys I've owned and been totally satisfied with them. Just remember that most any tuner is only as good as the person doing the tuning. Good luck in whatever you decide to do.

The street tuner isn't really a tuner at all since it severely limits any changes to be "street Legal" only. That's nearly worthless. The Pro version of the tuner is by far more capable of the two since it enables "off street" racing adjustments to be made. It cost more but it also does a lot more. That's assuming you have a lot of experience and really know how to use it. If not, you might look into having it tuned via a good shop that uses a dynamometer (dyno). The same goes for other brands of tuners.
Anyway, why are you changing your tensioner shoes?
Like Longridertx, go with the pro tuner and make sure you have someone who will tune it, some tuners only like to work with certain products. My local HD dealer tuned my bike after cams with the pro tuner but I'm not really satisfied with the results. I will most likely get it retuned come spring.
Pro Tuner if you are dead set on HD. However, if you are willing to look at a better product, and one endorsed by your better tuners out there, you will want to look at the TTS Mastertune.
