Always had one and always will. I just recently survived a pretty wicked crash and a good friend of mine gave me another one. Said he was afraid I may have used up all the charm.

a buddy gave one to me the day I got my bike....thought it was a little cheesy at first but now it is like a friendly reminder to be conscious of the hazards of the road. When I hear it ring I think of my three little girls and I adjust my driving....that can only be a good thing!
Hada Guardian Bellgiven to me by a good friend. Since then I have given two Guardian Bells away. One Bell to another good friend. Another one Bell to my 2 1/2 son on the bike pictured to the left. I plan to move his bell from his battery operated chopper to a Harley-Davidson in about 14 more years, LOL. I have heard the bell ring on my FLHRCI several times, mostly in sharp right hand curves (bell drag-on). My Bell is located under my RH Floorboard and can be seen on my profile. Jody
I've had a bell since my first ride! I recently sold my Yamaha to a good friend of mine and when I delivered it to his home, I presented him with a bell. Call me superstitious...
The bell is neither a good luck charm or gremlin-eliminator, although that's fine with me if it's your bag. The bells were given out as a premium at some early motorcycle races in the late '30s and thereby became as much apart of biker lore as sissy-bars and the suicide shift. Thanks to ThunderPress for this tidbit.
