If any one needs a used bell, I have a buddy that rebuilds salvaged HD's. He has a drawer full of them that he takes off of wrecked bikes. He said nearly every bike he gets has on on it somewhere.
Got one from a friend when the bike was new. Put it on in front of my house. Got to the corner and dropped the bike. Just a scratch on the bottom of the engine guard. Go figure. Then while on a ride the bell fell off. Haven't replaced it since. Maybe 2 1/2yrs ago.
Well, suck!!! I just went out to take a picture of mine to post on here, and it's gone! It was hanging from the frame just in front of my right footboard. The ring it was connected to is still there, although a bit bent out of shape. Don't know if someone stole it, or if it broke off when I tipped the bike a few weeks ago. Rrrrrrrr [:@]
I've got one and it works GREAT! The only problem is I've got it under my right foot board and I need one on the left so I don't fall in that direction either!
Yes I do was given to me by an old biker who said you got to have one ,and I belive him
If its given to youthe bellspower is strongest,if you get a new ride and use the same bell it not as strong but will work and if you buy your own the bell has even less power
Would ride without one
