I do not want to be tracked. Thanks for your great effort.

PS, I want to go up to the machine shop with these pictures so no one has to deal with any problems. I will fix every and all problems.
I couldn't agree more with you on this, Howard.

Mini update - my research misled me to thinking the 1"axle fits the rushmore lowers. It does not. Anyone have a complete non-ABS Enforcer for sale?

If the Enforcer wheel fits older models the older/other wheels should fit the Rushmore forks. The axle has the same part# has the '08-'13 models.

Yeah but I have a '15 front end I might have my neighbor turn down the big side of the axle so it fits in the leg. Otherwise I need a 25mm wheel to use the '15 axle.

can't you just swap late bearings into the wheels?

I'll rephrase what DanDman is saying:

The same 25mm axle is used from 2008-2016
The same Sliders (lowers) were used 2000-2013 (with 1" and 25mm axles) and then changed 2014-2016 (but not the axle).

See the overlap.

The 2000-2016 "Touring" 1" and 25mm axles have the same O.D. where they mate with the Sliders and are interchangeable

Of course you have to address bearing sizes needed with what wheels/axle/spacers to be used. but that's easily done

That is what I was told. There is interference when trying to insert my 1" axle into the sliders. I'm going to measure them when I get home and possibly have my neighbor turn it down to fit once it's measured. I ordered a Enforcer wheel from the classifieds anyway, but it probably won't be here for a week. I'm going to work on confirming the above, because at first try, the large end of the axle did NOT fit into the slider.

The difference comes in the design of the lower. A few thou doesn't really matter when you have a 2 piece clamp. However the newer slider is a solid piece, with a hole bored and a cut made for the pinch bolt. Precision fit is much more important in the latter style.

Well then, I'll double check everything more closely this evening and report back. The large end wouldn't slide into the lower without considerable resistance.
