I just use 4 stick on rubber feet from home depot....stick them to the bottoms of the bags

that way you can set the bags down on the floor or on the shoulder of the road without worrying about the paint.

I think this is the one for the saddlebags
https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...cks-pic-s.html

And for the TP

Good idea on the rubber feet Mike, but many have the stretched or CVO bags now.

The stretched bags are a PITA to wash when not on the bike. The rack would make it much easier and less chance of marking them up while washing.Presently I use a couple of old rubber car mats and lay the bags on their side on the garage floor.

That is nice, but there was another one that was built like the HD one. It was like an a-frame design.

I don't recall where I found this, its not my design or work. If I could remember where I got it I would gladly give credit where credit is due.

Saddle bag storage rack
Made from 3/4" PVC and only cost about $20. You need 10- 90's, 4- tees, 4 pieces cut to 15 1/2", 8 pieces cut to 6" and 4 pieces cut to 4 1/2" and 2 pieces of 3/4" pipe insulation. Only took about 30 mins to make. Here is a couple of pics.
