Default Throttle Position Question

Installed the PCIII from Jamie premapped for my setup on a '07 RK Classic and bike runs great. However, been read'in alot about setting the throttle position after installing the PCIII. I understand the position and associated rpm range is whats used when tweaking the a/f ratios, so the map has to accurately know 0 throttle and full throttle to factor percent of throttle accordingly, makes sense. I think I got it, right? So do I need to plug in my laptop to the PCIII on the bike and open installed map and set the TP? I see there is a "set throttle position" selection in the tools menu in the software. What's the procedure?

Lead me out of the dark please...

As always, thanks bros!

Be sure you read the instructions closely, i.e. watch the tutoria closely. The bike has to be warmed up and running to set the 0% position. They say you don't have to set the 100% position, but if you do they say you blip the throttle to 100% so that they rpm only goes to 2000 to 3000. But, they also say the 100% can be set by plugging in the battery while the bike is running, then turning off the bike (I assume you leave the ignition on) and set the 100% position without the motor running.

It's all in the tutorial. Good luck.
