FuelPak FP3??
You may want to look into the Power Vision, instead of the FP3. If you're going to install cams, the FP3 may not be the product for you. I just pulled the belowfrom FuelMoto's website:
Important Notes:
Important Notes:
- Fuelpak FP3 requires a user supplied iOS or Android based unit such as a smartphone or tablet which is not included with purchase.
- FuelPak FP3 is a flashed based tuner which gives you basic control of fuel & spark. This product is best suited to Stage 1 modifications such as air cleaner & exhaust. FuelPak FP3 does not support modifications such as aftermarket cams or big bore kits.
- FuelPak FP3 maps are developed by V&H exclusively based on exhaust systems manufactured by V&H.
- FuelPak FP3 does not use a software suite for computer use, all tuning is done via smartphone or tablet.
- FuelPak FP3 marries to a single bike, this product cannot be unmarried, relicensed or used on another bike
I'm running the Pro Pipe and FP3 with the stock exhaust. I've noticed a fairly considerable difference in performance and I'm very happy with the FP3. I, like you, plan on replacing the stock cams once my warranty is up this year and, as mentioned, there is a map for the Andrews 57H cams. Right now, I think I'm running a little rich, so I plan on getting in touch with V&H and have them look over my current auto-tune map. You might consider an external breather system from DK Custom Products, too.
I've been researching the FP3's for a while and seeing what folks have been saying. I believe I will be getting 1 as soon as my '16 SGS leaves the shop for the hydraulic clutch problem. I already have VH twin slash rounds on it and will be adding the FP3, breather and power duals.
I like my Fuelpak3. 13 Heritage, Straight Shots, Arlen Ness Big Sucker.
As a matter of fact my bike is at Manatee Harley awaiting a new ECM replacement. Which does mean that I would have to get a new Fuelpak3 as it is married to the vin number in the ECM.
However, yesterday I called Vance and Hines to see if the situation has come up before.
I spoke to Cheyne and he told me to just send in my current Fuelpak3 and they would be happy to replace it and that they did not want to leave me hanging with buying another one.
So keep this in mind that any business that wants to help out these days should be considered.
Also Brian at Fuel Moto where I bought it back in December of 2014 said before you spend money on a new one to call Vance and Hines and see if there is something that can be done. So Brian could have made another sale. So I would highly recommend buying through Fuel Moto. I remember they spent some time on the phone with me when I bought from them helping me to understand the pros and cons of the products they sell.

V&H now offers the ability to setup the base structure of the calibration to support tuning for an assortment of cams, however they do not have actual base maps for these cams. They are giving the end user the ability to tune them at a basic level (i.e they did not install these specific cams in motors and test them). This is much different than actually developing specific base maps for each cam as we do with Power Vision, regardless of the product you are using the tuning process requires significant changes not only to the timing & VE tables, but to an assortment of other various tables such as charge dilution and MAP normalization. Auto Tune features with FP3 as well as PV only adjust the VE tables, this is only part of the big picture and the specific reason we spend the time & resources to buy the bikes, assemble the various combinations and build the fuel maps. Both FP3 and PV are great products, it all depends on how you will be using them and what your combination/build requires.

Their response was that the FP3 can indeed do cam and big bore mods just like all other tuners out there.
Best to talk to the folks whose name in on the box I guess.
I read this on the Fuelmoto site a little while ago, I sent an email to Vance & Hines to ask the question to them directly and show them what the Fuelmoto site said.

While I agree, I think Jamie's response nails it. He sells both products and is going to give an unbias opinion. I'd be more willing to accept Jamie's candid response. He's got nothing to loose by sugarcoating the response. Below is his response. I don't have a dog in this fight. I just would hate for someone to invest the money and not get the outcome they were expecting, especially if they don't have the tuning abilities.

Well, if I knew then what I know now, I might have had second thoughts about choosing the FP3. Though I'm pleased with the FP3, I think V&H conveniently leaves out important details about the limited capabilities of the product beyond Stage 1 upgrades and its lack of support on the dyno, specifically Dynojet's dynamometer. Of course, I suppose some of that is my fault for being naive and not doing my homework.
