Hi, I'm installing a ultra classic king tour pack on my 07 FLHX. I picked it up at a swap meet and my local dealer told me that they don't have a wiring harness because most tour packs that are made for an FLHX doesn't have lights?????
Anyway, I installed a splitter to the harness under the seat.....I've tested the connection and figured out which pin in L and R Turn Signals, Brakes, Running Lights, etc.
The plug inside the tour pack only has 3 pins......the ground, the rear running lights and the side running lights......I've tested the lights and they all work but I don't want to wire the tour pack to just have running lights, I would at least like to have brake lights, turn signals on the back would be a bonus.....not sure how to go about it, I thought of splicing the turn signal but do I have to do it at the light individually because I think if I wire it direct to the harness that it would flash both lights looking like my hazards are on.....I can send pics upon request if my description doesn't make sense.....lol.....thank you in advance.
I think what you have is side running lights and run/brake rear light on your T/P with the 3 wire set up ( which is stock/standard for some if not all years- it is for 2009 which is what I have a manual for)
you should have a dual filament rear light bulb.
I could imagine using the run/turn/brake module to get turn signals up top...or ... adapting a streetglide module to use your 2 tourpak rear lights as run/turn/brake

Thank you for the links.....I believe the service desk looked up that wiring harness and they told me it wouldn't work on my street glide, I followed your link to the Harley store and when I check for my bike (07 FLHX) it was not listed
I appreciate your help!!!!!
anything "tourpak" won;t be listed as compatible with your streetglide- as far as the computer is concerned...the streetglide won;t ever have a tourpak...so you have to fill in the blanks yourself.
The fitment chart in the link says it doesnt fit the street glide because it didnt come with a tour pak. The part in the link is what you will need for run turn for the tour pak. It will work for your application. Sorry Mk we must have been typing simultaneously
