Default Rocker Box Leak
I have a small leak that leaks Dom the rear head, is it hard to replace that rocker box gasket. Very small leak that drips on engine/exhaust.is this a easy fix. Any pics or advice?

Not a hard fix, pull the tank and remove rocker boxes and replace. Get a 7/16 and 1/2 inch torque adapter for rocker bolts and a service manual.

Hard in mechanical work is a relative term. I don't think it's hard but someone not mechanically inclined could find it difficult. You will need a service manual to follow the right loosening and tightening sequences so as not to warp anything. You will also need torque wrenches and torque adapters unless your comfortable guessing the torque on a few fasteners that you can't get a socket on. If your bike is prior to the 2009 frame change, the rear cylinder is a bitch to get the rocker plate and bolts in and out but it's not bad if you take your time and stay patient.

Rear is a Pita, tight quarters, but pretty straight forward. You're sure it's leaking between the upper and lower boxes, not the lower and the head? Good time to install Rockouts.

I like put a little permatex(insurance) in there between the gaskets(new) and snugim on down like you would the primary cover(no permatex there)...no gotcha's..really like playing with lego's..
