Default Daytona this year?
Heard from some friends down there + they said it was dead. Was a zoo 10 years ago when I went. Anyone else notice this?

The last weekend is the big attendance weekend. I plan to head down Thursday and land at Cackleberry by Friday midday. The tent camping is still available but the connected RV spots are all sold out. 10 full days down there is a lot to ask of anyone IMO.

I think maybe your friends are dead.It seems about average for the early part of the weekend.

I'm here now and have been since Friday. I'm a first timer to Daytona and if this is considered dead I'm glad I'll be gone when it gets "busy". I've done Main Street, speedway and the swap meet and it was packed at all three.

The first weekend is always that way, vender's are still setting up. Next weekend will be the big one and the last weekend gets the crowds that are looking for discounted bike week apparel.

I have been there the 1st weekend for the last 6 years. I would say this year's attendance is the same as the others.

I've been watching the Main Street live cam and it looks about normal so far. Expect it to get busier at the end of next week. http://daytonabikeweek.com/ They are blessed woth really good weather the entire week! Hope it's this nice when I go in Oct!
