Angry Handlebar Cover
Trying to replace the handlebar cover on my 2009 RKC, with one that doesn't have the ugly plastic handlebar adjustment screw access cover. Bought an older RC cover, Part # 67866-03, and had it rechromed. After all the B.S. to remove the original cover, low and behold, the new cover doesn't fit. Seems like the older cover has a slight difference in fit around the fork lock area. Anyone know what year Harley changed the cover configuration? Thanks!

changed sizes in 08.

I thought the blank plastic cover sucked too. For 2016, harley put a road king script on that part and looks much better. I have a 2011 RKC and the cover is the same. I think 2009- present are the same. Here is a pic of it installed.

I did the same mod on my '13 RKC

(The new cover came along with the Rushmore redesign in '14)

Yea that looks much much better than my plastic fake looking metal cover. I'll have to grab me one. How much??

well, the plastic cover is available separately, pn 61400159. costs around $18.

BUT, is it the same shape as the older, simulated metal one? idk.....
