Well, you rode with the "nicest" people on your Honda ... NOW you get to ride with the "coolest" on your Harley, lol. Congrats on the new ride! Memories ... I bought the 1st brand-new bike in my life back in '04 ... Impact Blue Super Glide. Now I'm on my 4th new HD (throw in a new Gold Wing and a Ducati in between a couple of those) and loving it even more than the first one. Harleys are a love/hate relationship, I found out the couple times I hated them and strayed away ... I always keep coming back to Harley, that says something.
White is a great color. Wanted that but couldn't find a used one in good enough condition. You can do a lot with that color..... Oh, and congratulations on your new scoot.
Before then I thought they were for old folks but I was wrong since I'm only 32 and I love the look now. Wife liked the color I was looking at and the Street Glide so she told me to get it. She wants the seat and trunk for her but I don't like that look just yet so she'll have to settle for a smaller removable sissybar backrest.
Congratulations! I was riding a bagger when I was your age and I'm still riding one! Smart? yes! Not getting a removable tour pak for your wife? Not smart! Passengers feel more secure with the tour pak behind them. Yeah, she'll stuff it full of $hit but. You can take it off for profiling purposes! When you two take off for the weekend believe me, you're going to be glad it's there. The next expense you have is the OEM shop manual. Don't buy any other manual. The OEM manual is well worth the 60 bucks.
