I did the opposite. That is I have stock pipes (for now) with a SE air cleaner. No issues for 40,000 miles. N having said that I just installed a Power Vision and my bike see to run much better. Due to winter still existing I haven't done any extended rides yet!

Same here ..... ran them for better than a year, heck I even had a Rushmore A/C on it for awhile and they are suppose to allow more air! Ran a bit better and never a problem! I now have a stage 1 with PV ......

I run stock pipes and an S&S intake. No issues.
My brother ran nothing but slip-ons on his '09, '12, and now his 2014 Street Glide. All high mileage bikes and zero issues.

I have a 07 Ultra Classic, Rush slipons and stock a/c, but I have a V&H fuelpak on mine because I'm going to put a Arlen Ness Big Sucker Stage 1 a/c this weekend.
