Oil level

Hot or cold, on the side stand or straight up, what is the correct level on the stick for an 03-88TC?

On the side stand....and there is a hot and a cold mark for oil level

On the side stand,check that oil is not over cold mark,when engine cold,same for hot engine and hot mark on stick.Most owners run oil level slightly lower than full mark.

I run my 88" and 95" oil level when hot about a 1/4" below full when hot. No problems with oil consumption or engine performance. That would also be on the jiffy stand.

My 88 only has marks for hot. On stand I'm happy half way up or to the full mark. It needs to be fully up to temp, like 20 miles. If it's half way up cold that puts it at about the full mark hot.
