I have HHI trips and a 23 up front.
How's it ride? A bit stiffer and a little less nimble at speeds under 15 mph. But you get used to it quickly, and then it's smooth sailing. Handles great. I've ridden a 21, and it rides very similar. No regrets on my decision.
How'd you do yours?
Used Baggers Inc here in PHX to help with my build. Arlen Ness 23 up front with Dirty Bird fender, matching rotors.
Single sided brake?......if so, some feedback.
Nope. Kept the dual rotors.
I had a 23" on my 2015 RGS and agree with JohnnyDrama, the ride is a little less nimble at slow speeds, but got used to it real quick and never had any issues. It handled just as good as the 21" I had on my 2013 street glide. I just ordered the HHI 23" kit for my 2016 Street Glide CVO, so I'll post pics in a few weeks after it's all installed.
1st, thanks for the info....2nd.....is the added cost of the 23 worth it, in your opinion? Seems like a few of you started out on 21's......
According to some specs I've read, you end up with a tire that is 1.5" taller, overall.......but you have to do triples, springs, and a fender.

This is a totally subjective answer and is completely unique to the rider. I started with the stock 19 incher. For me, 21 just didn't look big enough. I mean they still look great on a bike, but I had a very specific vision of what I wanted to get to. Certainly it was a lot more money to go 23 due to the new fender plus paint, triple trees, and the module that keeps the abs working correctly with the larger wheel. But I don't regret it for one second. I don't think my bike would look nearly as good with a 21 with the air ride, bags and tank that I have on there. Just my opinion.
Also keep in mind I never lowered the front. The rake from the trees was sufficient for me, at least for now.
My buddy has that exhaust. It is F**kin LOUD! He doesn't ride early in the morning so not to wake up the neighbors!
Lol yeah it's pretty loud. Rolled out of my neighborhood at 6:00 am this morning and had to idle for a block or two to make sure I didn't **** anyone off.
