I asked this question last year and the census then was rechargeable. I was told the battery dies pretty quick therefore you are always changing them. I have to charge mine every other week.
I'm wondering what people's preferences are for the security system pager system.
Do you like the battery one or the rechargeable one and why?
When I had mine on my thirteen I was recharging every two to three weeks, so it was easier for me then carring extra batteries, and at that time the rechargeable one was smaller than the battery one.
Rechargeable. Lasts for 2 weeks between charging, and the pager body is itself a spring loaded clip for attaching to your vest/shirt/whatever.

Rechargeable, Had both, batteries are $$$ and don't last. I only use it on trips and don't mind giving it a quick charge before I use it..... Just my 2 cents.
