Handlebars
Hey guys I'm new here. I've been looking at putting some 14" ape hangers on my 2011 street glide and was wondering what all I need. I know the obvious bars and cables but what else will I need? Thanks!
I'd suggest the SE Twist Grip Sensor and some poly bushings. Check out the Namz site for switch pack extensions.
Basic hand tools to include a torque wrench. Service manual is nice but not needed if you search well enough.
Good luck!

Patience - if you're doing the wiring yourself.
I started, and then went with Lonewolf. I pulled a wire off...
I think 14" is the breakpoint on extensions versus stock. You'll may need the SE [longer wire] TBW twist grip sensor.
I think some of the companies will tell you lengths if you contact them / buy from them.
You'll also need to consider new urethane bushings so they don't wiggle back n forth. They will "transmit" vibrations to your hand a little more, but the stock rubber ones go back n forth.
FLHX might need some clearanc-ing on the fairing where the bars go through. Mine did anyhow...
If you still have the stock on your motorcycle - You'll love the bars. They might take a little to get used to.
What bars did you decide on?

Both look cool.
Just take your time. Also if you can get some "Westinghouse Chain" [bathtub round style] it'll help pull through the wires. Soap can be used to lubricate the internals. If you know an electrician, get some Ideal Yellow 77 wire pulling lubricant - oh Ideal is a Canadian Company. [Thomas Betts 823113 Wire Pulling Lubricant] I think they work better than soap, but not worth it if you need to -buy- it.
I've seen illuminated switches, and it's -the- time to go to chrome housings. Check that if interested. But - The cost goes up up and away.

Where do I get the twist grip sensor? Namz? And also is the 20" plug and play kit from Namz long enough?

Yeah your 20" is more than enough, will make it easy to work with and you can hide the excess.
EDITED FOR CORRECTION. I ORIGINALLY POSTED 32305-08A AS THE CVO TGS. 32305-08A IS THE STOCK TGS.
