Default Shocks

I ride a 2001 Road Glide
I am doing the Progressive Monotube front and am curious what shocks you guys reccomend for the rear. I have looked at Progressives and JRI's.

depends on what your pocketbook can handle, I did monotubes and progressive 444's on my ultra with no complaints, progressive also has 944's that sound good and both can be bought for under 6 bills on amazon. Are the Jri's better probably, but so are the ohlins and your going to pay bigger$$ for both. use the search forum option and you will find all kinds of opinions.

Legend Revo's. Google Legend reviews, see why I love what this suspension did for my bike.

American made, Lifetime warranty. Easier to install than some.

Heard more positive statements on the forum about the 944's. Got mine from HogPros (site sponsor) and got a pretty sweet deal. Now just wish the weather would get warmer to do some work in the unheated garage. Rain snow x ad nauseum.

Try these I have them on my 2013 Limited and the ride is great and they are priced reasonable. Suspension Technologies USA

It's all subjective with how all these shocks ride and handle. You're going to see mixed reviews with Progressive and the HD hand adjustables.

Don't think I've ever read a post with someone being unhappy with Ohlins and the like...

Almost as many threads about shocks as there is about where to put the gas cap when filling up... I went with Ohlins cause I could. Don't have many miles yet since Spring-Ter socked us in with snow but I love them so far.

Do a search and you will find many opinions...

Don't overlook Pro-Action suspension Street series shock. Just got a pair installed on my Glide and I'm thoroughly impressed!

There's several threads on the Pro-Actions, all positive. Sounds like top notch customer service too.

They're in the $800 price range I believe?

Yes I believe they are $799. They are located in my home town so I had them do the front suspension as well with a Legend Axeo kit. When I came to pick it up the owner George had my bike outside the shop fine tuning it.... Told me he wanted it just right. Could've just had a service guy or manager do it but that's the kind of guy he is and that's the kind of customer service they provide. Top Notch all the way around in my opinion.
