Maybe Save Someone Some Work
I purchased a new lower front Fairing Skirt for my 10 Street Glide and was told I needed to remove the Front Outer Fairing to replace it. I removed it this morning and then discovered it did not need to come off. The turn signal brackets hold it on. If you remove the two bottom turn signal bracket bolts which are threaded right into the tree and loosen the two top bracket bolts, the Fairing skirt slides right out. In fact you may need to hold it from sliding out right into your fender... Not that removing the outer is a lot of work but if I can save somebody else a few steps.....
