I think your right with those cams. I was giving a better although costlier alternative to the heavy duty clutch spring.

besides the hard clutch pull, what sort of issues does the screamin eagle clutch spring cause?

I went with a 37871-98A spring in my 107", no slippage and the pull is fine.

Ok all, I've offered to loan my cam tools to otto, but our displacements are different. I have the Heartland tool that pulls and installs the inner bearing, he should be ok shouldn't he?

Aren't inner cam bearings the same regardless of displacement? I've had my Heartland cam tools a couple of years and my set doesn't look like what they're selling now.

they are different depending on year late model bikes have a larger diameter brg, early model, (I think its 06 and earlier for dyna, 07 and later for touring, have different size) thats only difference though, but it is two different tools. ( or one with the adapter)

I have the correct bearing installer tool, I really only need the bearing puller. Do you think Johns puller would work?
