Brake Experts Needed
I put real Brembos on my 07 before HD had theirs, the directions were real specific, you had to shim the caliper so the rotor was near centered between the pads or they will drag and hang up. Even if you used HD calipers did you check the alignment at install?
Your rotors are not turnable, my guess without seeing it is they are toast, and Im sure the caliper seals are gone too with the sight of glowing rotors with flames.

Pulled it all apart and........
It looks like the ride side stuck a piston, fluid heated up, expanded, and started clamping down all the pads. Right side pads were down to 6.67mm from a stock width of 7mm, left side were both at 6.97mm, it's apparent which side had a problem. Went ahead and pulled apart the calipers and despite anything that happened all seals were pliable and in good shape, nothing got hot enough to melt rubber.
I ordered new rotors, pads, and seal kits for the calipers to go through it all while I'm there.
Hop on the road, brake a couple times, and they start clamping down again. I haul it over, bleed some pressure, and buzz it back home. Luckily they didn't burn and they are definitely bedded in lol.
So with everything new I had a different problem that diagnosed as the master cylinder sticking and holding pressure. I did have a moment when reassembling it that I wasn't sure about the small push rod that the lever actuates, it has a big end and a small end. Don't put the big end in, it goes to the lever side. The big end is just big enough to hold pressure on the master cylinder, flipped it around and took it for another ride, nothing happened except normal braking albeit a little spongy as I didn't refill and bleed after but I'll take care of that today.
If anyone has to delve into these new Brembo calipers they are easy. I also ordered Drag Specialties #1702-0125 off eBay for $15(need two if rebuilding both) for the o-rings, drop right in and work fine.
