Need imput on Daymaker projector passing lamp beam
So I added the JW Speaker Evo2 headlight to my King. Went cheap and bought a set of knockoff passing lamps. Unfortunately they don't have any markings that tell you left or right or up or down mounting. I took a test run at night and while they seem to light up the sides of the road and ahead pretty good, they also seem to light up the sky as well. I went under a section of road that had a sort of tree tunnel. Everything above was lit up pretty bright,
So my question is this a characteristic of the projector passing lamps?? Do you notice with the actual Daymaker passing lamps that they shoot quite a bit of light upwards??? I'm just wondering if I need to try different mounting positions.
I will add that no one flashed their highs at me so I don't think I am blinding anyone. LOL
