can a factory HK head unit from 12 RG be installed in 99 e glide standard? i know the AVC will not work but overall will everything else work?

 

Don't be so quick to say the AVC won't work. I installed one in my 02 Ultra. I did send it out to Ironcross Audio, but, that was more for RCA outputs for future amps. While I did ask to have it set for use in the older bike, I had to make an adjustment from the on screen menu to get the AVC to work. There is an option to switch from analog to digital speed input if I remember correctly. I switched it from what it was set on to the other option and it began working. I wish I could remember which setting I used.
