Hello there,
Those of you who are installing a new handlebar with TBW cut out. Can you measure from the end up to the 1-1/4" area. The entire 1" diameter part of the bar.
My handlebar is shorter on the throttle side than on the clutch side.
If you've read enough about bar changes, some trim the other side. Something about the bars being compatible with both TBW and cable machines. I did both my bikes and frankly that extra 1/8" on one side doesn't bother me in the least.

I had to trim about a 1/4" off the left side so that the grip/switch assembly would make contact with the thicker bar area. I didn't know this was a common problem, I thought something might have been stuck in the left grip.

It's because of the heated grips. I ran into the same thing when I did the bars on my 2011 Limited.
