I read on the other forum that some guys end up taking their lifter blocks loose to get more room. There seemed to be a consensus that Loctite was optional, works for me. If I were dead set on Loctite, I definitely wouldn't go past blue.
Got ya. I broke the locknut loose and dropped them in place before putting the rocker support plate back on so I wouldn't have to take the push rods apart. I'll bet getting the threaded rod out of the bottom piece would suck with lock tite on them. I don't remember if I used it on the bottom piece. I don't think I did, just a little dab on the locknut after adjusting them.

I don't have the 222 cams, but my Andrews 57H's make a noticeable noise in the intake. I've done several of them and they all sound the same. Aggressive ramp is what I think you're hearing.

Ok guys, Bob at Fuel Moto just responded to my email. He says to go 4 turns and 5 flats to add more preload on the woods lifters. He also said the woods lifters will bottom out at 6 full turns with their pushrods.

Default Loctite

I use the blue Loctite every time. Use a heat gun to melt the Loctite until soft.
