Dealer quotes are 4 hrs for a ape install, add 2 hrs for internal wiring. So 1200 to 1400 otd parts and labor. Ouch. That's for a softail in my area.

Thanks for the input. I'll probably so it myself and spend the $1100 I save on beer for anyone who wants to help

My friend ask the dealer for a quote on his 15 cvo limited. They said $1200 plus the bars.

You can do what I did. Remove the stock bars and bring them both bars and all controls. I had them run the wires internally for me as it is the toughest part to do. They charged me 2.5 hours to do that I believe and then went home and installed them. Saved a ton of money and didn't have the stress of trying to run the wires.

Wow. Just wow. I can't even tell you how long it took me to do the bars on my bike because it was a footnote to the fork lower swap I did. The whole job, with fork swap and bars took 6 hours. That was with lunch and a hardware store run. I guess front to back it would be a couple of hours. Just take your time. It's easy. And wiring the bars is a non issue. Not hard at all.

Wow, that's not like Seacoast. Seacoast and Heritage are generally considered to be fair. I'm right on the Lebanon border where Granite State is the local dealer.

I was shocked they said that. In the past they have been extremely fair to me
