Strange indications?
During some hard riding yesterday, I noticed my speedometer would slowly swing back ad forth from 60-80 mph. During this swing, I noticed my 6th gear light would go off and on. There was no change in bike performance. Anyone seem this before?

When the speed sensor went out on mine it would read a speed much lower than I knew I was going and then go back to normal after a while.
Piece of cake to change out on my 2000 FLHTCUI and cost about $60 if I recall correctly.

First thing to do is check your battery terminals. That has happened to me twice over the years, and this cured what ailed my scoot. Post back what your fix is please, if only to aid others here.
