Is the display unit water proof or lets say can it handle some rainy weather.

I hose mine down regularly when washing the bike & haven't had any issues.

According to the box it is water and dust proof. And looking at the unit, it seems like it is pretty well sealed.

And when I mounted it, I drilled as small a hole as possible through the dash, and then pushed the unit up as far as I could so the strain relief sort of acts as a washer to seal the hole. If any water gets through when I wash it, it can't be much.

I use the Garmin TPMS via my LM390 GPS.
Does well, but it is pricey.

I thought about a GPS based Tpms, but i use my bike for commuting so I wouldn't want my gps attached all the time. But its good there are options.
