Steelmate tpms?
I've seen several threads on the FOBO system but don't like that it's bluetooth based. I'd rather have a small monitor where I can see it as I doubt I'd see or feel any alert from my phone while riding.
The SM system has it's own monitor, powered by the bike, that can mount to the handlebars or a flat surface. It's sensors only weigh 9.6grams or about 1/3 oz. It's also under $100 for the system.
It's also on Amazon Prime for $10 more but this add has more info on it.
The main thing to think about is if you have rubber valve stems or metal.
Never heard of this brand before, and I'm sure it works about the same as many others. That said, I've had a rubber valve stem break on the rear (angled stem) stock rear on a 2014 FLHTK at 70 mph with a similar design TPMS sending unit on the valve stem end.
I've posted about the event several times, so that if anyone else experiences the same issue, at least I've tried to put the information out there.
I've got a set of in-wheel TPMS-equipped valve stems to install at my next tire change. They are metal, and angled at 90 degrees from the rim, so adding air should be much easier as well.
Sorry I can't provide any insight into how these particular ones might perform in the real world.
All the best,
Shane

I hope the reliability pans out.

Imitated, never equaled... ROCKOUTS!

Here's a real quick vid of the readout on my dash. If I had to do it all over again I'd mount it just a bit lower, the media door won't quite open all the way where I have it.

(The hissing sound is just my leaky air hose from my compressor)
Couple things.... The display starts out bright but dims after a few seconds. You can still see it obviously but in bright sunlight it's a bit of a strain. Pressing a button on the side brightens it again but it's not happening with gloves on. Also, the bike needs to move after startup to refresh the display. I assume they do this to conserve battery like. The instructions say 12.5 MPH, in my experience moving just 10 feet or so at idle does it. Not a huge deal, but a slight inconvenience.
The instructions suffer the typical Chinese to English issues, but if you read them like 6 times you'll be good lol.
Lastly, the included mount is for 7/8" bars.... stick on surface mounting is your only out of the box option.
All in all I like it better than the FOBOs, although both are good systems.

It comes with a molded cable that has a sealed barrel connector about 18" from the unit. I think that is intended to allow a quick disconnect when using the handlebar mount. I cut that off and fed the wire through a small hole drilled up through the ledge below the fuel gauge. I didn't want to have to drill a hole large enough for the barrel connector.
