You don't by chance know the part number do you? I looked and can't seem to find that one. The only one that shows up for my 2005 RK is the one in my picture.
Are you only looking at HD parts? That's going to severely limit your choices!
This would connect directly to the battery terminals correct?
That would depend on what you wanted.
A direct battery connection would have whichever port you go with powered all the time. Or you could tap into a line that's only powered when the ignition is on. Or, if you have an accessory switch you could go through that and only switch it on when you want.
I've got an 07 ultra so I'm not all that familiar with the RK but I'm sure there are several ways to get to any of those options. I know several guys have already posted suggestions on where to pick up power.

on my old rk i used a 5$ lighter from the marine section at walmart it even came with a bracket that i mounted to an acorn nut next to the windshield pouch. didn't even need a ground if i left one spring clip from the windshield touching the metal mount.
