Default cams installed, couple questions?

Just had some Andrews 26 cams installed.
I plan on changing the oil even though it only has 12 miles on it lol. Should I changed the filter also, again brand new.
Also seems like only my rear cylinder is getting that cam "loop" front is more steady thump.?
Thanks

My thoughts is if you started it since the cam install i would change it if not should be fine.

I wouldnt change the oil or filter if it was my bike. You can time the cyl. During dyno if there seems to be a problem

Cool oil change ???

why are you changing the oil if it was just done ...??? crank it and ride it around the block a couple times ...then top it off !!!
leave the filter too ...!!!
no need ...just a waste of good oil ....

just our 2 cents ...!!!

Did you use gobs of assembly lube when installing the cams? If not, I can't share the logic of dumping fresh oil.

Nothing wrong with oil with 12 miles on. Save yourself some time and money and ride. A little assembly lube won't hurt a thing.

I just did a cam swap with fresh oil. I changed it during the swap and plan on swapping it out after 500 miles. Oil is cheap. I have 0 argument one way or the other. It's your bike.
