I'm not expecting noticeable oil. It's worth it IMO even if you're just keeping hot dirty recycled air out of the intake.

Hasn't arrived yet. I will update when I figure it out. Feel like seeing the can in person will help me get a better idea of what to do.

From the DK web page:
The top of the Catch Can is vented, letting the air escape, while the foam filter catches and holds the oil.

I doubt DK is going to sell you a product that restricts the air flow and causes a problem.
