Default DK Customs External Breather?

Is anyone using this DK custom kit with the catch can? I was wondering if breathing would be too restricted using the catch can as opposed to just an open filter?

Any pictures of your particular installation if used would be very much appreciated? Thanks Folks!

Think about your question, and why there is a system to vent the heads elsewhere.

I use just the DK breather bolts which have a couple of small filters in them. I haven't noticed any real discharge. Just wipe them down now and again and make sure the oil level is in the middle of "ADD" and "FULL" on the dipstick. If you over fill the crankcase - it's will weep oil.

I just ordered that kit. It should not be restrictive as the catch can is well vented.

Don't need to worry about it. Unless you have serious blowby problems the flow requirement for crankcase ventilation is very low.

I don't have a blow by issue. However, I'd like to keep any fine mist out of the engine. Thanks for the responses.

As mentioned, if you look closely at their catch can, it's vented... shouldn't cause an issue....

I don't blame you, it's bad for the engine.

I vent to the ground, I have yet to see anything but water [ condensation ] coming out of the vent hose. My daily commute is 20miles each way, mostly 80mph on the interstate.
