American Motorcycle Tire is where I buy tires. Best prices I have found anywhere.
Just got Michelin Commandeer II's for a 2013 Limited for 180 rear and 136 front. Got them mounted and balanced off of the bike for 40 each. Total was about 400.
I take my wheels to my local Yamaha dealer and get them to mount my tyres, which I buy through them. Best to remove rotors and rear pulley. They're my closest dealer of any brand, race on the Isle of Man, so know their bikes and the chief mechanic even owns a Harley! Their coffee isn't too bad either - win-win.
I got an appointment Thursday for at least a new front maybe back. Didn't talk price but after reading this I'm calling today.
So, 15k on both the front and back Am Elites on my bike. Back is maybe at 40%, front is at wear bars. How can that be? Keep the front at 36#. Dealer asked about my braking habits, I said I always use the fronts only, and the front & back when I need to stop quickly and the fronts alone won't get it done. They said that's my problem. Give me your opinion

If you are super aggressive on the front, then yes, but I have never experienced it with my other bikes I had.
Check out there are quite few rebates from few companies I bought 2 tires from jakewilson little over $200 after discount and rebate visa card IMO that's heck of a deal for the Rushmore models.
Geez, I thought things were pricey North of the 49th. I bought Avons, front and rear for $370 CDN and free shipping. Then I paid $40 to have the Honda dealer mount them. For $700 US I'd expect a helluvalot more than mounted tires!
