..... Bike was clean minus a few chips in the paint. It started right up and ran good. Tires looked like new. Offered 8500 which sounds like I still went a little high. She didn't seen interested but said she would let me know. We will see. Thanks again for all the thoughts.....
And to those who say "The newer model years have all these improvements". Well yaaah, that's always the case. But maybe this bike is what he can afford and it sounds good with low miles and all. My Ultra is a 06 and I love it. I did do the SE cam chain mod and now I'm good to go 100,000.

Sold my 05 in 07 with 28K miles and new owner now has 125K plus miles on it without a major breakdown mostly maintenance as mentioned in few posts plus top end rebuild and primary bearings.Should last you 100K miles without major failure except timing chain tensioners but you won't have compensator failure as the 07 and later bikes.

Well guys, she came back at 10000. I decided to stay with my offer so we will see if she comes back at all down the road. If not I will just keep looking. Thanks for all the help. Later
