Soooo .... Ordered an 11" light tint flat top shield from Long Ride on June.01 (Monday) during their Memorial Day Sale. My buddy ordered a 13" Javelin the day before. Our hopes were that they would arrive on/before June. 11 as we went on a (3) day, 1100 mile ride around Lake Michigan Left on June 13). His shield arrived on June.10 (Friday). My shield showed "processing" until June.09, when it went to shipped status. On Saturday morning (11th) the USPS tracking showed "shipped" with Pre shipment info sent to USPS. As of 15 minutes ago, it still showed the same status. After sending two emails last week without replies, a phone call today was in order. I talked to a woman named Jen. She said they were slammed for shield sales for this Memorial Day offer, and they sold 600+ shields. But it gets better. She said my windshield was cut YESTERDAY and "should" ship out today or tomorrow! I asked why a shipping number was created before it was even done and she said they wanted them to ship as soon as possible. So, I asked since it was made yesterday why didn't it go out today and she replied... wait for it.. they ran out of SHIPPING BOXES and they should get them in today or tomorrow!!! Shields ordered up to May 31 went out that next week but hundreds more didn't. Anybody else going thru this BS? Nice shield (own another model), great price but terrible customer service. Not even any heads up to email replies. See if it arrives by Saturday....
I like LRS and have purchased three shields from them over the past few years. I've always had good CS with them but maybe they bit off a bit more than they could chew on this one. Sorry to hear.
Interesting that you post this.
Having ordered my shield on June 3rd, more recently than you, it appears it is not manufactured or cut yet.
I'm a pretty reasonable person, but we've all been spoiled by next day shipments in the world today.
I hope they get on the stick pretty darn soon.
Ya know, they dont have to give us a big discount on their shields,But just because they did not answer your email does not mean that's bad customer service.

2 unanswered emails in a week is bad customer service.
