I went down on my 12 Street Glide due to an a$$hole who almost hit me head on. Ran out of road and bike hit a curb and frame got bent at the cross member plus scrapes and dents to various stuff. So the question I'm asking is how long does it take Harley to ship out a frame with my bikes vin on it. Dealer says a month at least and also how long does painted parts take to be delivered. Sucks I won't have my bike for all this time just wondering if any of you been thru this before? Thanks and watch out, there all trying to kill you and they don't stay for the aftermath either! 😡
But I have to say, I'm surprised they're fixing it, usually with a bent frame, the assessment stops there, and they total it.
Not true with the way they are handling hd touring models. I had the same issue with a wrecked bike. I sold it as is pocketed the check and made out with a new to me low mileage bike.

You didn't state whether this was an out of pocket expense or an insurance claim. You can get your frame checked ( and straightened if needed ) at several places around the country. Here are a couple.

I would of done the same but had aot of upgrades on the bike and would of taken a bath.
