Ok let me start off by saying its only a suggestion and nothing more. I second the opinion that it should be looked at via a actual doctor. That being said,..
I use over the counter pills from CVS called "back and body". I have joint pains pretty much everywhere. Lower herniated disk pushing on my sciatic nerve, pinched nerve in my neck, shoulder reconstruction on right side, broken bones thru the years and these pills help me get thru the really bad days. For the most part i tell myself to suck it up buttercup and keep on rolling along. But theres the days that i just need a helping drug. These work wonders for me. I offered 2 to a friend of mine who was having back problems and he said " If i could get Viagra this easily and work this good I'd be all set". I LMAO but he went and got his own bottle after that. A doc is the best option second best was these.
Unless any of these people on here who provided advice are orthopedic surgeons, I'd disregard and see my own doctor and/or orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis.
THIS!!!!
I Started having shoulder issues a few years back, got an mri and a couple of shots, the mri was "unremarkable", my ortho was good enough to suggest a neck mri, it was not a good day when she called to tell me it was "very remarkable" issues with C3 to C7. See a doctor.
If your on the same bike for 4 years and it is just starting, It's you, not the bike. Find a good chiropractor, he will be your best friend. I have shoulder issues and he helps me alot.
Mine is usually a pain starting under my shoulder blade, running down my arm, and makes my hand go numb. I can deal with it by using cruise a lot and moving my arm around. he fixes it by adjusting my back by my shoulder blades and it goes away in a couple days for about a month or so.
last time I couldn't raise my arm over my head, there was pain across the top of my shoulder and he said it was basically tennis elbow in my shoulder. he gave me some exercises to do and it went away in about a week.
Admit it. You are done. Sell the bike.
Seriously, health issues are nothing to question. Leave it to the pros. Go see a specialist that will give you a peace of mind of knowing what ails you, a prognosis to attack and either a specialist to fix it or at least a referral. Good luck, mate.
Thank you for your Reply. Just setting on the Bike it feels Very Comfortable, Not really reaching. I've not tryied a Back rest. I did have one on My Last bike(Goldwing). May need to Purchase one for this Bike. Advill may need to be packed in Box. Thanks.
This probably has a lot to do with it or just age related. I just had my left shoulder operated on about a year ago for torn RC and it still bothers me a little riding, I even have 12in bars. Do some shoulder exercises, i don't do mine like i should, hence the pain i have, as I believe shots are just a band aid. PT could also help.
