I have a 2013 Road King, the bike seem to have a lot of play in the drive train when i ride on a rough road with bumps, the slight difference in throttle position cause by hitting bumps i hear sounds like i have a lot of play in my primary...the dealer change my compensator ...it make no difference...i try a lot of other Harley and no one made this sound...please help
Hi Pierre, there are a few places where you can get "play" or "slop" in the drivetrain- we would assume that a recent compensator change would have required the primary chain tension checked and set- there is a spring loaded automatic adjuster on that.
how about the drive belt- is the tension correct? how about the rear shock absorbers- are the bolts tight?

I don't know about the primary chain tension, the dealer do the work, the belt tension is ok , i recently put Pro Action shocks but the bike run bad before them...
Next week i'm going to go to the dealer again
